Vara has been freelancing as a photographer and retouch artist for over 10 years. She's been widely published both nationally and internationally. She studied photography at Savannah College of Art and Design, and later transferred to the Academy of Art in San Francisco, where she obtained a BFA. As a side hobby, Vara also enjoys shooting a street fashion blog called Urban Rag.
